Baptist Assembly in Wales 2010
Once again we’re thrilled that the Baptist family in Wales is able to host The Baptist Assembly under the banner of ‘Momentum... moving forward in Christ‘. Since we last met, our growing sense of partnership has been a great source of encouragement as the Baptist Union of Wales, the South Wales Baptist Association (BUGB) and BMS World Mission have worked together for the sake of Christian witness and to promote mission throughout the principality.
We are delighted to welcome a host of guest speakers and facilitators who will lead us in seminars, Bible study and evening celebrations over the course of our time together.
As part of our Assembly this year, we shall focus on the work Baptist Churches are doing in Pembrokeshire. A popular tourist spot for many, Pembrokeshire has a vibrant Christian Community and many of the Baptist Churches in that county are active in many different forms of outreach and mission. Of course it’s not just a popular holiday destination and these Churches continue to minister and reach out amongst the communities and neighbourhoods of which they are a part – 12 months of the year!
Come and hear of the hopes and challenges that the Baptist Family in Pembrokeshire is experiencing, and join with us as we continue to move forward together in Christ!
